Thinking Blocks – Model and solve addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division word problems using interactive strip diagrams.IM 6–8 Math was originally developed by Open Up Resources and authored by Illustrative Mathematics®, and is copyright 2017-2019 by Open Up Resources. (This applet works well when used in conjunction with the Five Frame applet.) The four games that can be played with this applet help to develop counting and addition skills. Ten Frame – Thinking about numbers using frames of 10 can be a helpful way to learn basic number facts. Silk – Digital tool that allows students to create beautiful pieces of art using symmetry. Symmetry Artist – Students can create their own pictures using line and rotational symmetry. Challenge yourself to find the weight of each shape in one of six built-in sets or a random set. Pan Balance – Shapes – Build up to algebraic thinking by exploring this balance tool using shapes of unknown weight. In understanding equality, one of the first things students realize is that equality is a relationship, not an operation. Pan Balance – Numbers – Use this tool to strengthen understanding and computation of numerical expressions and equality. Click the tabs along the top of the tool for additional information and resources. You can also see 2D representations of the front, side, and top views your figure. You can rotate the figures in 3-dimensional space to view them from different perspectives. Isometric Drawing Tool – In this tool you can create 3D figures out of cubes. 
The real time as well as random times can be set by the push of a button. The digital clock can be hidden and revealed.

Interactive Clock – This clock can be used to demonstrate how to tell time using an analog clock.Students can use this tool to practice skip counting by 5s and 10s. Students can also create their own problems with addends up to 20. Grouping and Grazing – Students can solve pre-made addition and subtraction problems modeled with cows on a part-part-whole mat.Students can hide and reveal fraction models as they observe patterns and compare and order fractions. Fractions are simultaneously modeled on a number line.
Fraction Bars – This tool allows students to model up to 5 fractions less than one with denominators up to 15 using a linear model. (This applet works well when used in conjunction with the Ten Frame applet.) Five Frame – Thinking about numbers using frames of 5 can be a helpful way to learn basic number facts. The square model in particular allows for great conversations about why/how the numerator and denominator change when creating equivalent fractions. Equivalent Fractions – This NCTM Illuminations tool allows students to create equivalent fractions using a square or circle model. What makes them extremely flexible is that the pieces can represent different amounts depending on which size piece is designated to be one whole. Cuisenaire Rods – Cuisenaire rods are a linear model that can be used for whole numbers and fractions. #Strip diagram math free
